The Ronstadt Transit Center has undeniable potential for revitalizing the downtown area by welcoming visitors, commuters, and everyday Tucsonans to an open-air plaza. Ample seating and shade provide spaces to eat food, watch a performance, or wait for the Sun Tran or Sun Link.
This project was at the end of my semester and I was able to utilize skills that have been developing throughout the school year with Indesign, and I was able to highlight another program I have been working with, Rhino 7. With Rhino, I created all the objects and arranged them to give a sense of space and proportions for viewers.
A sunken stage and seating area meant for lounging, eating, and performances. This is the highlight of the open-air plaza.
By promoting alternative means of transportation, bicycle repair stations are a great way to change a tire or fill up a flat.
